No Ac Call For Goodman AC Unit From 2015. Outdoor Unit Was Shutting Off And Customer Was Needing To Restart From Disconnect. Unit Was Running On Call From The Stat On Arrival. Pressures Not Within Range Upon First Inspection. Found The Air Filter To Be Dirty. Removed Air Filter. Unit Remains Running. Pressures Began Reading Within Range Replaced Air Filter With Available 16x25x1. Filter Appears To Be Getting Sucked In But Is Secure. Indoor Unit Is Large Enough That It Likely Requires More Return Air. Symptoms Of Call Sound Like The Unit Was Locking Out On Low Pressure Fault. No Smoking Gun Reason For Failure, Unit Was Running For Almost An Hour With No Faults Present. Recommend Comfort Consultation To Verify Duct Sizing.

Call For No Ac On 2008 Nordyne Ac. Air Filter Wasn’t On Initial Inspection Very Dirty But Did Have Dirt Present. Removed And Put New Filter In. Opened Furnace To Inspect Electrical For Water Damage As Ac Had Frozen Over. Discovered A Second Air Filter That Had Gotten Sucked Into The System And Was Definitely Impinging Airflow. Checked Ac Unit Outside And Found That To Be Low On Freon Aswell. With Clients Approval Recharged 1 Pound 13 Oz. Rinsed Off Outdoor Coil Aswell Just To Help Clear Some Debris From The Coil Outside. Checked Temp Inside And Is Putting 48 Degree Air Into The Ductwork With 70 Degree Air Returning. Overall Not A Great Installation However System Is Working On Departure

“I have a Mitsubishi 'split' heat/ AC unit that has been inconsistently working. I put out an 'ask' on a neighborhood FB page- McGinley was recommended. I called and was surprised when an AI assistant took the call and booked me an appointment. Apparently, AI isn't so smart b/c Ryan, from the office, called to tell me AI had overbooked me. We set up another appointment. Meantime, they had a cancellation and fit me in sooner. Ryan is very nice, helpful and aims to please his customers! He sent over Charlie Weiss, a very experienced technician who got right to work in the chilly, damp weather to diagnose my unit. Once done, we went indoors to discuss his findings and potential ways to move forward. He was very transparent with the pricing of each option. Charlie is very knowledgeable about his craft and explained things to my husband & I in very easy to understand language. He is also very personable, friendly and genuine. This company is very lucky to have Charlie represent them! The consultation fee was more than reasonable as was the 'maintenance fee' we would have paid had the unit warranted it. Charlie made it clear he couldn't do the maintenance as there are service issues with the unit that needs attention. We will be waiting to address these in the spring, as advised.
