Tune-up on 43 year old boiler boiler is painted silver n the last 6 years and has sustained spot marks behind the pressure/temperature gauge removed and cleaned out burners removed pilot assembly, thermocouple is rusting and covered in build up, it should be replaced. Cleaned pilot assembly vacuumed out bottom of burner box upon replacing burners found the back of the assembly to be disintegrating flame was very bright and yellow before the cleaning, now it is blue due to age and condition of the boiler replacement is recommended. We do offer free estimates. Combustion analysis indicates unsafe levels of CO (2,000+ppm) in the exhaust. Notified customer, shut down equipment.

He sent over Charlie Weiss, a very experienced technician who got right to work in the chilly, damp weather to diagnose my unit. Once done, we went indoors to discuss his findings and potential ways to move forward. He was very transparent with the pricing of each option. Charlie is very knowledgeable about his craft and explained things to my husband & I in very easy to understand language. He is also very personable, friendly and genuine. This company is very lucky to have Charlie represent them! The consultation fee was more than reasonable as was the 'maintenance fee' we would have paid had the unit warranted it. Charlie made it clear he couldn't do the maintenance as there are service issues with the unit that needs attention. We will be waiting to address these in the spring, as advised.
